- Name: Matthew Cordell
- Location: Chicago Suburbs, IL, United States
I'm an illustrator (primarily children's books, but also editorial and otherwise) who lives and works in the burbs of Chicago. I dwell in a home with my wife, picture book author and YA novelist, Julie Halpern and our lovely daughter Romy and our trusty steed Tobin. Life is great, man.

the second picture reminds me of a calvin and hobbes strip- you know the one where they duplicate calvin?
Sounds familiar... You got a good memory for the comic strips!
My dad read them to me when i was little so they are ingrained in my memory
